| Introducing 'Transformation Psalter' |

A psalter is a collection of psalms, sacred songs from Scripture. It was a popular medieval devotional. Our 'psalter' consists of four accordion-fold books in a slipcase; each presents a few exquisite psalm verses and images on the theme of transformation, growth, and change. All books and slipcases completely handmade of archival materials; images are created using pochoir (a hand-cut stencilling technique). This set would make an unforgettable gift to yourself or another to acknowledge or inspire a shift in professional identity, personal evolution, healing or renewal...or just to reconnect with the joy and mystery of the natural world.

This hand-sewn pamphlet reproduces a never-before-published 1934 letter she wrote to some lucky friends, contrasting our hectic 'civilized' life with the instinctive wisdom of nature as exemplified by a hibernating hedgehog. A treasure for anyone seeking to slow down, live a little more in the moment, reconnect with the earth, or beat the seasonal-affective-disorder (SAD) blues! Pamphlet is 12 pages (4.25" x 5.5") bound in parchment-colored cover stock with a simple cocoa-colored stitching on the spine.
